There are several new competitions that have been launched recently.
A short story competition for girls (Write Stuff), one that blends artwork and writing (Arts and Minds), a competition to create a tactile book for children with visual impairment (Tactile Book competition), and inspired by Cressida Cowell, a competition to design a dragon which will sit atop the famous pagoda at Kew Gardens (Design a Dragon).
Definitely something for everyone in this collection!
Hampshire SLS is pleased to announce the winners of the two Book Awards that ran this spring.
The winner of the 2017 Hampshire Picture Book Award is Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise by Sean Taylor and illustrated by Jean Jullien. And the winner of the 2017 Hampshire Information Book Award is Epic Book of Epicness by Adam Frost.

The Cat, The Dog, Little Red, The Exploding Eggs, The Wolf and Grandma’s Wardrobe written and illustrated by Diane and Christyan Fox.
