A few reminders:

Our PE days are Monday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor).

Even in Year 5 and 6, it is really beneficial for children to read aloud to an adult regularly (at least once a week). Children should be encouraged to develop intonation and expression when they are reading, as this leads to further enjoyment of a text. 

All homework is due on Wednesdays.

Our library day is Friday.

Homework in House Martins:

In House Martins, we get three pieces homework per week: Maths, English and Spellings.

Homework is due on a Wednesday and given out on a Friday.

By the end of Year 6, children are expected to correctly spell and use the words listed on the document below: 

Times tables are a key component to many of the mathematical concepts we study in House Martins. Please continue to practise these with your child at home.
